As Toronto Fashion Week comes to a close, Torontette finds it appropriate to offer a review. Not a review of the juicy, gooey goodness that walked our runways but rather the sweet-sounding sprinkles that made the models strut and fashion show-goers tap their designer shoes.
C.D.M. & G.R.W., the boys of ¡Borracho! have been making a name for themselves in the electronic music scene not only in our great city, but around the world. As their MySpace page says they cause “revolutions on the dance floor”.
One of the featured artists in the ¡Borracho! mix for Gaudet is Florrie with her track ‘Call 911’ remixed by Fred Falke. London lassie Florrie is getting more buzz than your Blackberry on a Friday night. Expect big BIG things from this blonde singer-songwriter slash drummer slash blossoming electro-princess.
Watch her reaction to ¡Borracho! dropping her track at the fashion show:
Another remixed track, ‘Hard Candy’ by Axxe was also featured in the ¡Borracho! music program for Gaudet. They come to us from none other than the great MTL. Look out for our ¡B!-Boys remixxing them this spring.
