Win Tickets to see The Middle East

The lovely folks over at Sneak Attack Media, are giving one lucky Torontette reader 2 tickets to The Middle East show happening at the Horseshoe Wednesday night in Toronto. These 7 Australians were on everyone’s radar at this year’s SXSW. Tomorrow night will be the very first time that The Middle East will play to a Toronto audience. This could be your chance to be part of something special, as without a doubt you will be hearing a lot more about these Aussies.

Here’s what people are saying:

“The Middle East are what some may call folk, though this really doesn’t do their music styling’s justice, as they mix the whimsical sounds of Bon Iver to the dark yet haunting sounds of Mono to create an album of awe inspiring beauty that really does bring the listener to a standstill or better yet, make them speechless.” – Sputnik Music

“Sometimes….very rarely.. but sometimes, a band surpasses your already high expectations. The Middle East gave me shivers and left me teary eyed just watching them at the Paste Magazine party on Thursday.” – Nailler

All you have to do to for your chance to win is comment on this post or send an e-mail to torontette@gmail.com.  We’ll announce the winner at 12pm (est) tomorrow. And the winner will be off to the show tomorrow night. Lucky devil.
