Song of the day (No. 13)

Summer Camp’s Jeremy and Elizabeth fooled everyone into thinking they were from Sweden while working hard to keep all other details unknown. In fact they were one of the most buzzed about mystery bands of 2009. Read their “revealing” interview with It’s Getting Boring by the Sea here.

If you’re a fan of Kisses (read our post about them), Cults and Twin Sister, you’ll ♥ Summer Camp. They make music for people who love falling in love.

Their first single ‘Ghost Train’ has an infectious retro feel. Strong female vocals are subdued by silvery-smooth keyboards and the chorus is delectable. They’re definitely on my radar for 2010. I think we’ll be hearing a lot more about Summer Camp.
