Song of the day (No. 21 & 22)

I know what you’re thinking, but no, I didn’t just pick this song because of the name. Actually one of my best girls sent this to me, sending my love to you in H.K., W.M.! As you may know already I’m a huge Delorean fan. Just bought tickets to their upcoming show on July 14th at Wrongbar (purchased tickets from Rotate This). Not only is their original stuff amazing, but their remixes are pretty spectacular, including this one of ‘Half in Love With Elizabeth’ by Mystery Jets.

Half In Love With Elizabeth (Delorean Remix) – Mystery Jets

This 5-piece London electro-pop sensation have taken the UK by storm after the huge success of their 2008 release Twenty-One. This summer they’re sure to pick up right where they left off, with their newest album dropping on July 13, called Serotonin. As Filter Magazine writes, “The name Mystery Jets is not a mystery in the U.K., but here in the States, the band might be a complete stranger. Expect Serotonin to give the band the breakthrough it needs to become an indie household name.”

‘Flash a Hungry Smile’ is the first single from the album. This summer, keep your ears pointed to the sky as the Mystery Jets will be flying full-speed ahead to our side of the pond.
